Future Proof Early Intervention provides individualised support for children from infancy through adolescence. Sessions focus on the skills that matter most in everyday life and may take place at home, in kindergarten, at school or within the community.
Naomi works alongside children, families, educators and other professionals to understand each child’s strengths, communication, regulation needs and current challenges. Together, we develop practical strategies that support participation, confidence and independence across daily routines.
How we can help
Support is tailored to the child and family. Depending on your child’s goals, early intervention may focus on:
Support is adapted to each child’s communication style. Children may communicate through speech, gestures, signs, facial expressions, behaviour, pictures, objects or an AAC system.
What is the Key Worker approach?
A Key Worker is one consistent professional who works closely with your child and family across different areas of development. This approach reduces the need for families to coordinate multiple disconnected services and helps ensure that strategies are practical and consistent.
Naomi works with families to identify priorities, plan support and embed strategies into everyday routines. When other professionals are involved, she can collaborate with them to help create a coordinated approach around the child.
The Key Worker approach does not replace specialist support when it is needed. Instead, it helps families understand recommendations and use helpful strategies more consistently at home, in education settings and within the community.
One professional. One coordinated plan. Practical support for everyday life.
What sessions look like
Sessions are practical, play-based and shaped around your child’s goals, interests and everyday routines.
Support may be provided at home, in kindergarten, at school or within the community, depending on your child’s goals.
Naomi may use play, movement, games, books, visuals, everyday activities and supported interaction to build skills in a meaningful way.
Parents and caregivers are supported to understand their child’s needs and practise strategies that can be used between sessions.
With consent, Naomi can communicate with educators and other professionals to encourage consistent support across environments.
Sessions are generally 90 minutes, allowing time to work directly with the child, observe everyday routines and collaborate with parents or educators.
Who can access early intervention?
Future Proof Early Intervention supports children from infancy through adolescence who may benefit from assistance with development, communication, emotional regulation, behaviour, feeding, independence or participation in everyday life.
A formal diagnosis is not required to make an enquiry.
How support is planned and reviewed
Support begins with a conversation about your child’s strengths, needs, routines and the goals that matter most to your family. Where appropriate, Naomi observes your child within their everyday environments and gathers information from parents, educators and other professionals.
Together, we develop clear and meaningful goals focused on participation in daily life. Progress is monitored through ongoing observation, family and educator feedback, review of agreed goals and changes in how confidently the child participates across home, kindergarten and community settings.
Strategies are adjusted as your child’s needs change. When discipline-specific assessment or intervention is required, Naomi will discuss this with the family and recommend collaboration with an occupational therapist, speech pathologist, psychologist, dietitian, medical practitioner or another appropriate professional.

What families have to say
Naomi’s knowledge, patience and clear strategies have made a tremendous impact on our lives. My child has developed a greater ability to express his emotions and thoughts, which has reduced challenging moments. Naomi is flexible and always offers practical strategies when something isn’t working. My son is now more independent, communicates more effectively and plays with his brother. Our family wouldn’t be where we are without Naomi’s guidance and support.” — Parent of an early intervention client
